"Which feature of mine needs help?", is one of the most popular questions. Short of plastic surgery to fix a feature on a person's face, it is useful to see what others think especially if the way the person posed for the photo and all it takes is to change the angle of the pose. So if you have a big or crooked nose avoid side shots of your face. Experiment with photos of different angles of your face and see which ones look best.

Most digital point-and-shoot cameras have a short lens meaning that it allows a wider view, but if you get your face too close especially your nose it makes it look larger than it really is.

"Which is my best feature?" A lot of people have heard at some point in their lives that they have beautiful eyes or warm smile and it is always comforting to get a genuine compliment. You About Me allows you to see what people think about you now and their responses can reinforce or change your perceptions of yourself.

"How old do I look?" As we get older it's always flattering to hear we look younger than we are, but sometimes our photos make us look older than we are. If you're posting yourself on a dating site or sending in a photo with a resume, check your photos on You About Me to make sure you're sending the right image of yourself.

"For my birthday present I like to get?" Sometimes we may be sending the wrong message with our photos in that a glamorous pose all made up to the "Nines" may look really fancy, but it could also be interpreted as someone that is "high maintenance". On the other hand if you are posting to a dating site targeting millionaires then that "expensive" look could be just right. Make sure you understand who your target is and adjust your pose, clothes, and photos accordingly.

"My body looks". If you are posting to a dating site it always helps to include a couple of photos of what your body looks, but it also helps to understand what others think about your body. Do your photos come across as "Too sexy" or "Just enough sexy" or "Just perfect" or the dreaded "You should turn around". You are always sending a subliminal message with your photos, so it's important to know what that message is before you go fishing for a mate.

"Which photo of mine looks best?" On dating sites and social networking sites like Facebook and Myspace you always need to select a main or lead photo of yourself. Sometimes it's hard to select that one "just right" photo. With You About Me the members help you identify the one photo that is the best.
